MindFiend you are so right. I suspect the instant portal while in a minecart or on a mount, along with boat leashing is part of softening us up for the villager/biome thing. And yeah, we will get used to it. I can't imagine Minecraft without beds - we do indeed adapt.

Thanks Suzi. Those pods may yet appear in the End, when I get there. We will still be able to finding Mending items and Mending books in chests, but that is super random. In the meantime, we shall make hay while the no-nerf sun shines!

I'm still hopeful that they haven't implemented this quite yet missvanity. I haven't seen anyone complaining about it yet. But I would rather jump the gun and be safe with a good library than leave it to chance!

We have the changes to nether portals - the ability for entities to ride thru portals in a minecart is brilliant. 3000 blocks overworld is only 375 in the nether, so this will help immensly. But yes there will still be 'sticking points' - like servers who use world borders where biomes just won't be accessible. My server doesn't even have much of the last update in it for this exact reason. I'm going to have to expand twice as far as i was originally thinking just to get last update's features, let alone the 1.21 ones.

They are not great Arthur, but I personally dislike basalt deltas more. At least soul sand valleys have soul sand and fossils in them - something useful. Urgh. Oh well, I suppose that's the thing about the nether - it very kindly gives each of us something to dislike!

@@Dreymasmith the way the spawn mechanics work in bedrock, if you are in a soul sand valley the skeletons spawn just outside their attack range. So, if they spawn in, and start moving in your direction, they start hitting you right away. And...since the only other mob spawning there is the ghast you have them spawning in constantly also and setting everything around on fire. Blue fire. It can all be eased by lighting the whole valley with torches...but that's time consuming. I do hate the basalt because the silly magma cubes seem to appear from thin air and knock me into those little lava puddles... I've always felt like the warped and crimson biomes would be better suited for "The End" rather than "The Nether"...but that's just me...

@@CoconutPalace Wow, Bedrock makes the soul sand valley really nasty! You saw how the skellies were just hanging around out of their range. And yeah, it's the magma cubes that terrify me in basalt delta. I've been knocked into lava more than once!

It was something that Mojang just sort of mentioned in passing each time they were discussing other aspects of the armadillo John, so I had to test it out.

Thanks Spoon. You just have to watch out for the odd brave spider that decides to jump over the armadillo. And that death was so annoying.

I'll do my best to explain user-pg1es5cl6m. If you place the door as I show in the short, so that it is not obstructing the doorway, but is technically closed because of its placement, when you then use the door to obstruct the doorway the door is technically open because of its placement, so the zombie ignores the door because it only sees its technical status, rather than the actual obstruction of the doorway. Hope that helps.

I'm not sure what you mean Baldi200. If you mean why are some of them different colours, it's because there are different coloured rabbits for the different biomes. Maybe see if you can collect them all.
